Oenoturism, let’s taste….
Once upon a time share cropping was most common, but since 1980 everything has changed in the Tuscan countryside. What happened and who are the protagonists of such great changes in a territory that is today highly devoted to an oenological vocation? You’ll learn about it on visiting farms in the countryside around Montalcino, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, as well as Classic Chianti.
Do you want to know everything about local wines?
Red wines smell of strawberry, oak and tobacco. White wines smell of apple, apricot and vanilla.
Do you like to taste them?
We can plan a tour to the different oenological areas.
You need to choose among the different territories which one you wish to visit:
• Montalcino (Brunello) full day tour
• San Gimignano (Vernaccia) half day or full day tour
• Castellina in Chianti, Radda, Greve (Classic Chianti) full day tour
• Montepulciano (Nobile di Montepulciano) haf day or full day tour
By car or by bus (if you are a group) we will visit the villages on the way to the farms where you will have wine tastings and wine cellars visits.
Once you choose which area you wish to visit and confirm the tour with me I will suggest farms you can contact to book visits as well as wine tastings.
There is a fee for wine tastings to be paid either on the spot or in advance.
